Donate to The Animal Shelter

Currituck Animal Services and Control appreciates all donations made by the community. Each donation is put to good use by helping to provide for animals awaiting adoption at the animal shelter.

The most effective form of donation is a monetary gift. County staff can use these funds to purchase items that are needed most at the shelter. This method helps provide the consistent type of food given to the animals at the shelter, as well as standard medications which are needed to keep the animals healthy.

Other donations which are helpful include dog and cat beds, leashes, pet toys, and bowls for food and water.

At this time, donations should be made directly to the staff of Animal Services and Control. Checks should be made payable to 'Currituck County' and either delivered in person to the animal shelter or mailed to the address provided at the right.

Currituck County is working to provide citizens a method to make donations online using a credit or debit card. We hope to have this feature available on this page in the near future.

Donate a Kuranda Cat TowerDonate a Kuranda Dog Bed or Cat Tower

Give a shelter animal a gift that will keep on giving. Kuranda offers special discounts when you donate a dog bed or cat tower or bed, with several donation options to choose from.

Each donation ships directly to Currituck's Animal Shelter, so there is no delivery or set up involved for the person making the gift.

Donate a Kuranda Dog Bed
Kuranda beds are chew-proof and easy to clean, and are excellent beds for the animals in the shelter.

Please consider donating much needed dog and cat beds today to Currituck County Animal Shelter.
